Tangaroa - Tiki Taane

I fell in love with Tiki Taane's music the first moment I heard it. He is quite a strange character with very different styles of music that he incorporates into his album Past, Present, Future. This video shows his Maori roots. It's haunting.

And now the translation.

Papatuanuku and Ranginui the parents of the World. So it was, so it is, so shall it be always.

This video was very power. I can see why you were drawn to him as an artist.
Is it just me or does he look like "the rock"...lol
Sorry, It's late, i'm drugged up from these darn pain killers and being a little silly...

I had never thought of it, but I guess there is a slight resemblance. However, I think the Rock is a bit too made up and fake, I prefer real bodies...Tiki's kinda hot! But more than that, his music is pretty darn good. We'll listen to his other stuff together soon enough!
